Summer is rapidly approaching, and with it Summer style! Whether you’re going on holiday with the lads or just looking jealously out the office window, you want to make sure you look your best, and that starts with your hair.

Side-part Pompadour

How it Looks

What is It?

A classic men’s hairstyle dating back to the early 20^th century, keep the fade low so you can part the hair, and keep a long fringe so that you can style it back and up for that perfect American turn of the century style.

What Product to Use

We recommend something with a bit of hold to keep the shape of this hairstyle, but not too heavy as to weigh everything down. Try Wayne Anthony’s Flex and run it through at the roots to provide a textured look that lasts all day.

Low Fade and Slicked back

How it Looks

What is It?

If you’ve got slightly longer hair on top, or naturally very straight hair, this style will be perfect for you. Keep the fade low but short (perhaps even a number one) and leave some length on top. Apply some product and slick back for the perfect trendy look.

What Product to Use

You want to use a product that provides that shiny, slick look without drying it out like traditional gels. Try using Pomade when styling this look to keep everything in place and give you the slick back needed.

High Fade with Side Swept Hair

What is It?

The classic side swept look, given a modern trendy edge with the fade shaved up almost to the parting. Fairly low maintenance and a striking style, look to footballers like Cristiano Ronaldo who are currently sporting this fantastic do.

What Product to Use

We recommend a fairly standard wax to keep the long hair on top kept in place, try some Wayne Anthony’s Wax spread through from the parting to keep this style going all day.

Undercut with a Long Top

What is It?

A common look for those wanting something low maintenance and the ability to try a variety of styles. Get your barber to give you the an undercut of whatever length you’d like, while leaving the length on top to style how you wish. Slick it back, style it into a pompadour or try a top knot if you’ve got the length!

What Product to Use

Depending on the style you are going for, you may not need any at all! We wouldn’t recommend using too much product with longer hair and you may choose to opt just for hairspray instead.

Shaved with a High Fade

How it Looks

What is It?

A striking, daring style but fantastic for those preferring the shorter look. Seen on a lot of celebrities lately, look for around a number 3 shave on top and with the fade ending high up the sides and back of the head. Incredibly low maintenance and very striking.

What Product to Use

Depending on the length of the shave on top, we wouldn’t recommend any product for this style, but be mindful of how it can look with your head shape. If you have an oval head shape, or a less square jaw, this will be perfect for you.
